hw #1-9 UNIT TEST REVIEW
hw #1-9
Required pg 44-45 Do all except multiples of 3
Optioal pg 46 Chapter Test (how well do you want to do on the test?)
I will be available on the blog... see you there!
Well, the question is can you do long division? If not, cut-and-paste the links below into your browser and check it out!
Once you can do long division, here's a strategy: First, you have a negative divided by a positive, so we know our answer will be negative... that's good, cuz now we can ignore the negative and just "do the math" on the positive numbers and flip the answer to negative later, agree?
How would you do long division with 42/7... you would 42 on the inside of the long division symbol and 7 on the outside, yes?
So, for 42/7.5, you would put 42 on the inside and 7.5 on the outside... hmmm, not too easy. Well just multiply everything by 10 and you get 7.5. NOW, you can put 420 on the inside and 75 on the outside... doable? lmk, thanks!
I let you "get away" with integer pairs, because the answer was simply "Integers"... you took the question a little too literally when I asked for the set of whole numbers and their opposites.
I have a question on number 11 I added the numbers in the parentheses first but i cant do the division I forgot how to divide a number by a decimal
